Another 3D game but this time a first person shooter. The controls are a little tricky at first but once you get a handle on them then your sure to enjoy fraging the competition.

At only $4.00, it’s not a free game, but it’s definitely a steal of a deal. With high quality graphics, multitouch, and two gamemodes with several interactive missions.

Robo Defense

One of the first and definitely the best Android tower defense games on the market. There is a free trial version with some of the features disabled but the full version is only $2.99. Robo Defense has quality graphics, but where it really shines is the gameplay.

Upgrade towers, build mazes, and lay down the smack on travelling enemy hoards. Saving and more maps are some of the added benefits of the paid version.

Bonsai Blast

An Android clone of the popular casual game Zuma, Bonsai Blast really puts your touchscreen to the test. Marbles of varying colors travel through a prebuilt maze and it is your job to right the wrongs and stop them before they get to the end. Great Apps

In search of the best apps for Android? Take a look at our list of some of the best apps on the market. Our featured app for May is Wertago, a self-titled application that bills itself as “The mobile application nightlifers have been waiting for”. I have to say that this is a great app. I recently used this app when I was in Nashville, Tn and I enjoyed being able to see what people said about the nightlife. It really helped me when choosing where to have drinks. I would have liked using it a little better if I had friends that used the app as well. It would have been nice to use the app to its full potential.  I would highly recommend taking Wertago for a spin, and since the app is free you have nothing to lose.

Have an app that you enjoy? Suggest it to us and we may feature it.

Below is a list of some of the most recent apps that we have downloaded and reviewed. Take a look at them and give your FEEDBACK.

Wertago: Billing itself as “the mobile application nightlifers have been waiting for,” Wertago is a social networking application that lets users coordinate social events with their friends, rate current hotspots and create personalized social networking profiles for users to share their favorite  locations. Like many other Android applications, Wertago uses Google Maps API to map out different clubs, restaurants and theaters. This application was developed by Kelvin Cheung, Teresa Ko, Peter Ree, Robert Sarvis and Douglas Yeung.

Dial Zero: Quickly dials the customer service numbers of over 600 companies and skip directly to a person. Don’t wait through annoying voice prompts any longer. Dial Zero is useful, fast, and simple. Learn tips from other users who share how they got what they wanted from these companies (refunds, canceling their account, etc.). Unfortunately, calling many of these companies is frustrating–we hope the app helps you feel more in control
Qik: Live video streaming over 3G or Wi-Fi, which one-ups the others with support for full res 720×480 DVD quality video from the Droid
Astro: An Android task manager to kill useless background processes is mandatory, at least if you want your phone running at top speed. Oh, and Astro happens to be a pretty damn good file manager, too.
Google Voice simply changes the way you use your phone, and the app’s seamless integration is a killer feature for Android as a whole. Get in line for an invite, if you haven’t already.
PDA Net: The ridiculously easy way to tether your laptop to your phone, over USB or Bluetooth, without rooting it. If you don’t wanna cough up $30 for the full version it’ll still connect to non-https:// addresses just fine.
Life 360: We’ve made our top Life360 services accessible through a smartphone application you can use on any Android phone (more phones coming soon!). Currently you can use Life360 mobile to access our Emergency Messenger and Tracker services, as well as access the medical and emergency information uploaded from our Life360ID product.
